 Commissioned for the 2024 Cooperative Baptist Fellowship General Assembly

Give us holy imagination to dream a holy dream,

A holy imagination for all the church could be.

Speak to us as you lead us.

Give us holy imagination for how your will is done,

A holy imagination for what we could become.

Inspire us with a fire in us.

Let us leave behind traditions we do for tradition sake,

The empty things we cling to, the habits that we need to break.

The old will see new visions; the young will dream new dreams.

Our sons and daughters prophesy and preach the love of Christ.

The church will come alive.

And the Gospel of love, the Gospel of love will thrive.

Give us holy imagination to dream a holy dream,

Lord, give your people courage to dream with open eyes,

To live out your calling in ways that will surprise.

The old will see new visions; the young will dream new dreams.

Our sons and daughters prophesy and preach the love of Christ.

The church will come alive.

And the Gospel of love, the Gospel of love will thrive.
